I’m a thirty-something lover of my baby boys, husband and pets. I enjoy DIY projects, food, and adventure. I am from Northern California and now live in Woodinville, a suburb outside of Seattle, and love calling the PNW home. I spend my time chasing my babies, daydreaming about renovating our home, eating, cooking, laughing with friends and family, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Life is too short to wait for all your ducks to be in a row, in order to really start living. So many of us think, “I just need to lose another 5 lbs, THEN I’m going shopping”, or “I can’t afford a new living room set until I get a bonus from work”. Really living is about making the best with what you’ve got and getting a little creative. It’s about making the most of what you already have, reinventing the boring, repairing the broken, and rejuvenating your soul along the way. Be inspired and let your creative side guide you. Indulge sometimes, but be happy with what you have and make it work. Inspiration is all around you, so allow it to lead the way and you’ll find that living an inspired life is about living a beautiful life, a beautiful life according to your standards, and no one else’s. Money can definitely buy gorgeous things, but creativity can build gorgeous AND unique things.
I am so happy that you stopped by, and I hope you’ll stay a while.

Prima!!! I love your blog! I’m a tad bit envious (in a good way) because I’ve been wanting to commit to a blog for a long time now…and haven’t!! How do you find time for all your projects? I think it all looks great and I’m subscribing to see your updates!! Hugs – Christy
I love the name of your blog, we sure have plenty of those grey days here in London. Just have to make the most of them 🙂
